In the Community: Exploring Mental Health and Digital Wellness with Youth at Minds-On
We were back at Minds-On this summer for an interactive workshop exploring mental health and digital wellness with youth (ages 13-16)! The youth shared incredible insights into their tech use and strategies for optimizing technology features for well-being.


International Academy of Law and Mental Health's XXXIXth Congress - Montréal, QC
In June, our Lab team attended the International Academy of Law and Mental Health's XXXIXth Congress in Montréal, where we presented four topics exploring the intersections of law, policy, and mental health in a digital age.


Chicago International Summit on Education 2026
Our team was back in Chicago to present again at this year's Chicago International Summit on Education! It was an incredible day of learning and community with researchers and educators from around the world joining in on powerful conversations about student success and transitions.


EdMedia 2026 Conference - Edinburgh, Scotland
In May, our Lab team attended the EdMedia Conference by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education in Edinburgh, Scotland, where we presented our research in four areas. It was a wonderful opportunity to network with researchers from across the globe doing incredible work in education!


3rd Annual National Rural Youth Summit on Hate
An inspirational 3rd Annual National Rural Youth Summit on Hate brought together students and educators from across rural Ontario to explore hate, harassment, digital wellness, and community action.

We joined Minds-On for two morning workshops that engaged youth in conversations and hands-on activities exploring healthy, safe, and smart technology use. Day 1 focused on exploring our favourite technologies and digital wellness, and then, on Day 2, we expanded our thinking to design technologies that promote happiness, connection and well-being!
