In May, our Lab team attended the EdMedia Conference by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education in Edinburgh, Scotland, where we presented our research in four areas:
AI Deepfakes and Youth Cyberbullying (with Dr. Jennifer Laffier and Madison Westley)
Digital Wellness and Trauma-Informed Care in Higher Education (with Dr. Jennifer Laffier, Madison Westley and Dr. Barb Perry)
Childhood in the Age of Influence and Kidfluencers (with Madison Westley)
Resilience-Informed Mentorship in Teacher Education (with Dr. Jennifer Laffier, Madison Westley and colleagues from Anglia Ruskin University (UK), Jenny Fogarty and Dr. Leanne Gray)
It was a wonderful opportunity to network with educators and researchers from across the globe, as well as connect with our graduate students at the Frazer Faculty of Education at Ontario Tech University. Congratulations to all for sharing your important work overseas!
What a great way to end our time in Scotland with a night of music and dancing at Edinburgh Castle!
